I'm not sure what I expected, but I kind of found this report fairly uninformative. Instead of talking about the missional aspects, inentional community, creative liturgy and the other things the Emergents have to offer, we got several minutes of "we're not Republicans" and we have a cooler stage presentation.
Blech.
Oh, and that was me. (Stupid Blogspot!)

I think that is all the emergent church has to offer.
Was shocked to see that in 2005 only 55% of young evangelicals considered themselves "republican". Not that I am 100% on board with everything that the republican party stands for, but it is much better than the alternative.
Notice the message of this pastor, "Don't focus on what we are against, just focus on the love." That is a theme that is becoming all the more popular this day and age and will only lead to destruction.

Well, I had to go outside your site to find the video but I thought that it was interesting. Funny to find out the pastor that was interviewed was from Burlington, NC. I also link to the guys web site/blog and find that he is in with several pastors including Bob Franquiz from Calvary. Just in case you didn't go to his website yet, I think that it was taddgrandstaff.com.
