i like to use the expression "that'll preach" anytime i see Biblical truth expressed in the secular world.

How about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? We had this discussion with the Novacks (didn’t we talk about finding God in film as well?) and came to the conclusion it’s a fantastic story of redemption, forgiveness and family values. AND it has singing dolls that burst into flame. AND it has Veruca Salt. AND Johnny Depp and a twisted sense of humor I can appreciate. What more can one ask for in a sermon or anything really?
