I've never wanted to read a book so badly. While I was waiting for each of the Lord of the Rings movies to be released, I promised Jesus that as soon as I had finished watching the Trilogy (the extended versions of course) I would be ready for His return.
I now recant that promise.
Dear Jesus, as soon as I (and my wife) have finished reading "Deathly Hallows", I will be ready for your return. I'm serious this time, really.

omg! that's hilarious! only 6 more days tho!!!!! how'd u guys like the movies??
THE LAST TWENTY MINUTES IN 3D AT IMAX WAS MIND-BLOWING. I WILL GO BACK AND SEE ALMOST ANY MOVIE THAT THEY DO IN 3D.
Too funny - we're waiting with much anticipation for the final book too.
I was sitting on an airplane waiting to take off as I finished reading Harry Potter book six. Just as I finished and reached for my cellphone, to call my wife (who had already finished the book) and say "I can't believe what happened," they announced we were going to take off and every one had to turn off our cellphones.
I had to wait several hours before I could call her and talk about it. I was never so bummed about an on-time departure in my life.
Know how you feel, but be careful with those promises. What if JKR has decided she needs another book to sort out the remaining horcruxes and tie up all the loose ends?? She's always said 7 books, but could she go for 8?????
anyone leaves a comment on this post that tells any details of the seventh book will feel my wrath.
